The Championship will be held in Skierniewice and Rawa Mazowiecka, central Poland, 80 km south west from Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Skierniewice is a town of 50 000 inhabitants, area of 33 sqkm, an important railway node. It is a good start point for many tours to Mazovia region. Skierniewice has a good train connection with Warsaw and Rawa Mazowiecka can be easily accessed from Skierniewice. The participants travelling by train will be transferred to the hotel from Skierniewice train station.
How to reach the venue:
By car or bus: teams or participants travelling with their own cars or buses may use a route planner to find the address 96-200 Rawa Mazowiecka, ul. Tatar 1A, which is the main location of championship events and the accomodation. A recommended route planner is www.viamichelin.com. Rawa Mazowiecka can easily to be reached from the main north-south (Warsaw-Katowice) express road E67. It is just 1.5 km from the express road.
By train: participants travelling by train should reach Warszawa Centralna station and take a train - usually heading to Łódź or travelling through Łódź - and leave in Skierniewice. It costs 5-10 EUR, depending which train - suburb or a fast one - they choose. The actual schedule can be found at www.rozklad.pkp.pl. Fast trains depart from Warszawa Centralna station, the suburb trains from Warszawa Srodmiescie station, which can be accessed by 5 minutes walk from Warszawa Centralna. The organizers will transfer everyone arriving to Skierniewice to Rawa Mazowiecka by bus.
By plane: Warsaw has airport with two terminals. There are city buses connecting the airport directly with the Warszawa Centralna railway station. One way ticket costs 0.60 EUR. It is recommended to use a cheap city bus and reach the station after 20-30 minutes drive, depending on the traffic. Taking a taxi may be expensive. Then take a train to Skierniewice and you will be picked up by the organizers and transferred to the hotel and championship venue in Rawa Mazowiecka.
